About the TBA

Membership in the Townsend Business Association costs just $75 per year. We welcome all new business members who are either residents of Townsend or provide products and/or services through an established location within the Town of Townsend.

The Association runs on a calendar year (Jan. 1 - Dec. 31) and dues applies to the year in which you join. Twice annually, the Association holds All-Member Meetings; one in the Spring and the Annual in the fall. The Annual meeting typically includes dinner for 2 and is when we elect our leadership for the next year.

Member Benefits

Website- The "TBA Members" page provides a listing of all member's business information including a link to their website and a description of services.

Networking- get together after hours to meet other business owners to share ideas.

Getting Out in The Community- Throughout the year, the TBA offers members a chance to participate in a variety of community events by either hosting a "booth" at functions held on the Townsend Common and elsewhere, or by holding events ourselves. Individual members sometimes act as "sponsors" for events held under the TBA name.

Central Donation Location- As businesses, we are constantly being asked to donate and help out. Through our Community Outreach Program, the TBA makes donations to various organizations in Townsend. Besides donating to the NMRSD Project Graduation Program and scholarships to North Middlesex and Nashoba Tech Schools for graduating Seniors, the TBA gives annual donations to the Friends of Townsend Seniors Annual Holiday Dinner and works with the Townsend Ecumenical Outreach to help citizens in need. When approached by these or other organizations, by all means, if you can give, please do so. If not, you can tell the requester you give through the Townsend Business Association and suggest they bring their request to our leadership. All requests will be reviewed by our Board of Directors.

Upon receipt and acceptance of your application, we will mail a welcome package to the business address supplied on the application.
